Rear Admiral Gordon Hanson (Ret.)
At the age of sixteen he applied to Starfleet Academy. He studied engineering/operations and performed quiet well finishing 15th in his class. At the Academy he encountered many other races and belief systems, which stood him in good stead when he was assigned to a ship.
At the age of twenty he married his wife Janette just after graduating from the Academy. A year later his son Glen was born on the 19th of February on board the USS Cruiser where Gordon served.
Gordon served a record 10 years on the Cruiser, while most StarFleet Officers get transferred around several times in their career Gordon seemed to luck out. The Cruiser saw the birth of Gordon's two other children a second son Brent and a daugther Tracy.
After his time on the Cruiser, Gordon transferred to Freedom, a ship that gave him his first chance to command a large scale ship and really grow and develop his skills. Gordon had been settled into his role on the Cruiser for so long, that when he transferred to the Freedom his career took off like a rocket.
Two year after assuming Command of the Freedom Gordon was promoted to Task Group Commanding Officer in StarFleet's 10th Fleet, and a year after that was promoted to Commodore. Commodore Hanson continued to served as CO of the Freedom and TGCO for 6 years, until transferring to Starbase 21 and a position was Task Force Commanding Officer, and soon earned his next promotion to Rear Admiral.
Gordon served a TFCO for 10 years before ending his career with a brief posting at Star Fleet Command as Director of Personnel. Gordon enjoyed his life on Earth, and after some time desired a quick life to enjoy with his wife and grandchildren and not long after returning to Earth, retired to a ranch back home in Texas. While most at the time considered Gordon young at 59, he was set on retiring and enjoying time with his family.
Back home in Austin Gordon and his wife purchased a small bar and bought a ranch style home on 3 acres. Playing off of his time in StarFleet, Gordon named his bar, "The Admiral on Deck", and was considered a great success as people from all over the planet would travel to toss back a pint and chat with friends.
Almost ten years to the day, Gordon's life was turned upside down when his wife of nearly 50 years passed away unexpectedly. With a house full of memories, and a life time of pictures, people, and children; Gordon wasn't able to move on and continue his life. Pulling a few strings Gordon packed up his bartending supplies and enlisted as a bartender aboard the USS Shiloh. The Shiloh allowed Gordon a chance to move on with his life, and continue to work at something he really enjoyed.

History
Gordon was born in Austin, Texas, on the 5th of May. His parents were StarFleet Engineers who worked at the shipyards on Earth for the twelve years of Gordon’s life. After that they worked for Starfleet, serving on various colony worlds. It was here that Gordon started to take an interest in other cultures. He would learn all he could from people he talked to so he could better understand how they thought. His parents influence also fuelled an interest in engineering. At the age of sixteen he applied to Starfleet Academy. He studied engineering/operations and performed quiet well finishing 15th in his class.
