General Overview
Somewhat of a spitfire and not quite so angelic. Alex is not afraid to speak her mind or for what she believes to be the best course of action for her patients. She is very social and friendly, but when crossed, she can be very difficult to gain her forgiveness as she tends to hold grudges for a long time. While outspoken, she can be reserved, logical and very fact/task oriented. Her focus in the infirmary is precision and perfection.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strong willed with extreme persistence, diligence, caution and systematic approaches to care and life. At the same time, she may be indecisive, because of her need to assess all data and information available to her. She feels the need to be right and won't directly discuss ideas until absolutely certain in her decisions as her pleasure is accuracy. It pains her deeply to be wrong and extremely critical of herself.

As a child into teenage years, Alex was a well rounded student with acceptionally high marks in schooling. Extracurricular activities that her parents encouraged her to follow that excluded school was dance. A skilled performer in many of the classic forms of dance, Alex wouldn't hesitate to teaching a lesson or finding a dance partner for an evening off duty.

Born in Bordeaux, France, Alexandria was the older of two children to Patrick and Eloise Meyers. She was a talented and outgoing child who enjoyed schooling and anything related. Her mother was the one to encourage her to attempt dancing as a hobby. She continued through through primary and secondary school. Although she had a companionable relationship with her sister once she had been born, Alex fell deeper into her work and dancing, becoming almost obsessed with it and life outside of home.

Growing up bilingual, French and English was a common mix amongst her household. As her parents had wished to continue on with her dancing professionally. Alexandria moved to San Francisco to attend Starfleet Medical Academy where she met her future ex husband, Marcial Lopez. As she persisted in her studies, her whirlwind romance had her married for a brief time while she was still in school. Strains between the two grew greater between the two when she begun her internship off world. By the time she graduated the Academy and Starfleet was prepared to embark her on her first full fledged assignment by Starfleet Command, as a full physician and officer, they'd come to an amicable divorce which was finalized the same day her ship assignment was received.

As her career continued to progress, Alex's personal life was slowly falling apart. What she had believe to be a mutual split from Marcial, he continued to persue her and follow her through her assignments. Any location that he could gain access to, she was followed and sometimes threatened. During her brief appointment on one colony, Marcial held her close to her death when she refused to bed with him, after he found her dining with another colleague. Once the position aboard the Shiloh was offered, Alex jumped at the chance for the opportunity to flee Marcial's reach.
