Welcome to the USS Shiloh
Welcome aboard the U.S.S. Shiloh, NCC-92102, Horizon Fleet's first Lexington-class carrier vessel. Since man learned to fly and land off the deck of the U.S.S. Pennsylvania in the early 20th century, the aircraft carrier became an integral part of fleet operations. The carrier was versatile and powerful, able to control thousands of kilometers of sea. Today, the role of the carrier is much the same. It serves as a backbone for the fleet with capabilities to support any major operation, to show the Flag of the Federation, to show the might of Star Fleet, and to explore.
I am Commodore Mark Reinhart, Commanding Officer of the Starship Shiloh and Chief of Fleet Operations for Pegasus Fleet. The Shiloh will lead the fleet with Carrier Air Wing 12, our fighter wing, and Charlie Company, 9th Battalion, 3rd Mechanized Infantry Marine Regiment. Excellence will be our standard. Duty will be our way of life. I invite you to explore the website, where you will find information about the Shiloh, its crew, and its mission. The Shiloh is now accepting applications for all open positions. Join us for our next mission!
The crew of the Shiloh is committed. We will perform.
Sir Winston Churchill once said, "Sometimes, it is not enough to do our best; we must do what is required."
Again, Welcome aboard the Shiloh.
Signed,
Commodore Mark Reinhart

The projection of power abroad has been the method of choice for the United Federations of Planets to control space, show the flag, and bring peace to our universe. We boldly go where no man has gone before. We ask little in return for fulfilling our duty and exploring the galaxy. We are the first in combat, and the last out. We are the front line, and the last line. Our ship is the newest vessel of Pegasus Fleet and its first Flagship. It is November, 2386. Have you answered the call?

Alright, guys. I know that there are new school years starting for some of us, and the frenzied actions of other jobs getting cranking (I feel your pain!), but we should get moving. I know a lot of our crew are in at least two big, main JPs, so we should start seeing some more action, alright? Let's not let Reinhart find that the activity withered while he was away, shall we?
Let's be about it!

Evening, all.
Hope this news item finds you all well and thriving through the first day of August. I appreciate that there's been a slight lack of activity over the last week or so as Commodore Reinhart takes some time to get stuff together and make sure he's freeing up time to spend with us here.
I'm just popping this out to say that we shouldn't be losing momentum. I know that there's a bit of uncertainty as we wait for movement regarding the main plot of the mission but I know that you guys are well placed to develop your characters so it would be ideal to see you all getting involved in some character building posts to show Cdre. Reinhart just how good you are.
Best regards,
Commander Jaeih Andorzai
